Concacaf President Jack Warner lies about meeting Nelson Mandela

Everybody's favorite scandal plagued President of Concacaf and Vice-President of FIFA Jack Warner has found himself in the middle of another lie. Mr. Warner, who is running to become Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago went to South Africa last week to meet with Nelson Mandela in hopes of scoring political points back home. However, there was a little problem with this as 'Warner did not meet Mandela after he refused to sign an agreement that the meeting would not be used for political purposes.'

Yet Fifa put out a press released that stated: 'Fifa vice-president Jack Warner paid a whistle-stop visit to SA today to meet with Nelson Mandela as well as executives of the country’s Premier Soccer League [PSL].'

Oddly enough, Fifa has now removed the press release from their website, but here is the cached version from google.

So it looks like Jack Warner does not limit his creative ways to his soccer dealings alone.

On a different matter, if Warner did become Prime Minister, would he have to resign as Concacaf boss? It would make sense, but I can't find anything to suggest that he would.

What Jack should do not is lobby to move the world cup from SA, it always amaze me how black people just love to bring down their own

As a black man, its insulting to decency and common sense and to those who struggled to ensure equality for all, to use negrirude or blackness as an immunity from justifiable criticism of egregious conduct.

The reader defenda Mr. Warner's callous disregard for truth justice and dignity by invoking the old canard of victimised racism.

Of course its a hogwash. Simply put Mr. Warner's cynical attempt to exploit his association with the revered Mr. Mandela failed , not only that, it backfired.

There are few in Trinidad and Tobbago, even his ardent supporters who has not seen through Jack's transparent ruse.

I am sure that Jack's attempt to "lobby" to remove the World Cup from South Africa will fail in the same degree as his Prime Ministerial bid in Trinidad and Tobago.

Trinis are so full of it, black trinis are so caught up in there own importance that some of them can even find Africa on the world map, they are more in to the Jamacian way or lifestyle. Now its election time all of them have found their true blackness, if Jack was a member of the PNM this would not be a issue Jack would of been a GOD in the eyes of black trini's what hypocrites some of you are.

If Jack Warner was in the PNM he would not have been a candidate. As you know the PNM has a rigorous screening process and would not have passed muster.

Secondly the PNM is fa r more principled that that to try to "buy Nelson Mandela". There is in short no moral equivalence between PNM and UNC Manning and the two headed Mutt and Jeff Monster Jack/Panday.

So thus far

NO MANDELA
NO JESSE JACKSON
NO VICTORY

I don't believe that Warner can still be both PM and president of CONCACAF because FIFA looks down highly on governmental interference of the sport. See the many times that FIFA has suspended FAs because of tinkering by state governments. Warner would be in a position to extract undue influence on the region that his country plays in and I'm assuming FIFA would want to avoid a conflict of interest... especially given Mr. Warner's track record.

Well its History, Mr. Jack's party the UNC-A has suffered a crushing electoral defeat and whereas Jack wanted to be Prime Minister in the event of victory do not want the losing position of Leader of the Opposition.

So Jack got his comeuppance ... and Brtiney Spears will be available for the Next Trinidad Elections
